Bridge Magazine

Generally available on the first Sunday of the month from the following stockists:

Ger's Fruit and Veg Shop

Located on the main street is "Ger's", a small independent fruit and vegetable store that has been a part of Kilcullen for many years. A mix of traditional and exotic foods are available.

Gordon Bennett Route

The term "British Racing Green" stemmed from this very race that weaved its way through Kilcullen in 1903. Retake the journey by following the brown signs below. Some information about the route can be read in "The Hideout" pub, located at the cross roads in the town.


Heritage Centre and Town Hall

Located at the former cinema, the Heritage centre is a treasure trove of information concerning Kilcullen and the surrounding areas.

Kalbarri is a family-run cookery school and catering business operating from Kilcullen in Co. Kildare. Services include cookery classes and event catering. Using uncomplicated recipes all devised in-house, we keep food as natural as possible and this is what makes us different. Kilcullen Mart

The mart of Kilcullen has been in operation since 1958. An average of 12,000 cattle per year pass through the premises in the weekly sale.

No charge to visit the canteen which includes tea, coffee and hot food.

Due to seasonal changes and available stock on a given week it is best to call to find out the most up-to-date opening hours.

Kilcullen Community Library

The library is situated in a former national school and caters for readers of all ages. Whether you have an interest in books, audio CDs, movies on DVD or Blu-ray, the library can help you with your enquiries. Web access is also available to members. Membership of Kildare Library Services is free of charge.

Located behind the Camphill Weavery is the "Manna" organic shop. Organic fruits and vegetables grown in Camphill are available to purchase, along with a wide selection of organic products.

Nolans Craft Butchers of Kilcullen

Now in its fourth generation, Nolans Craft Butchers attracts customers from far and wide. Operating its own EU-approved abattoir, it is seen as a farm to fork enterprise. A selection of meats, fish, vegetables, wine and Sheridan's Cheeses and other products are available. Nolans has been awarded numerous National, European and International awards including most recently at the World Cup Finals for Craft Butchers in Frankfurt, Germany where they won 5 Gold Medals as well as the Outstanding Achievement award. 

A free private carpark located across from the Catholic church is available, simply drive up and the barrier will open.

Weavery of Camphill

Located inside the main gate is the Weavery of Camphill. Please visit and learn from the members how they produce their beautiful hand-made products (on sale in An Tearmann shop).

Woodbine Books

Opened in 2017, Woodbine Books brings a wealth of knowledge to customers who wish to flick through historical or the latest thriller genres. The book store supplies primary and post-primary school books as well as Junior and Leaving Certificate exam papers and revision aids.

In 2018, the business was voted "Independent Bookshop of the Year, Regional Winner" for Ireland in "The British Book Awards". With the recent installation of a dedicated Barista coffee machine you can now relax and enjoy books with a variety of hot drinks.
